Northridge By Night (NBN) is CSUN VSA’s annual philanthropic talent showcase that began in 2012. From hip-hop dancing to yoyoing, this year’s showcase involved a wide range of talents from CSUN students, the San Fernando Valley community, and various college institutions in Southern California. This year's profits were donated to the Catalyst Foundation, a beneficiary of the Union of North American Vietnamese Students Association’s Collective Philanthropy Project (UNAVSA CPP). Pacific Link foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to build communities in order fight against human trafficking in Vietnam and they support the sustainable development of Vietnamese communities and the enrichment of their cultural heritage

HISTORY

Northridge by Night pays homage to the popular Vietnamese-language musical variety show, Paris by Night. Although originally filmed in France, high demand from the Vietnamese-American community gave the opportunity for Paris by Night to host shows in the United States. The first Paris by Night production in America was in Orange County, California in the mid-1990s.
